Custom RV Garage & Workshop Construction in Wildomar, CA

This custom RV garage and workshop was designed and constructed by SAE Builders in the City of Wildomar to accommodate both recreational vehicles and functional workspace needs. The detached structure features three bays, including a center bay equipped with a 16-foot wide by 14-foot high overhead door, providing ample clearance for an RV or future vehicle lift installation.

The roof trusses were engineered with a peaked ceiling design to maximize interior height, creating a more open workspace and allowing for additional vertical storage or mechanical equipment. Structural design, layout, and dimensions were carefully planned to meet local building code requirements and long-term durability standards.

In addition to the garage structure, approximately 2,500 square feet of new concrete driveway was installed to provide proper access, turning radius, and parking capacity. From foundation and framing to finish details, this Wildomar RV garage project was built for strength, functionality, and lasting performance.

DuraScreen Patio Enclosure

This Wildomar outdoor living upgrade began with the removal of an aging wood lattice patio cover and replacement with a large DuraScreen screened room enclosure featuring an insulated roof system by Duralum. The new enclosure creates a comfortable, protected space that shields homeowners from heat, insects, and weather while maintaining an open, airy feel.

The insulated roof panels improve temperature control and durability compared to traditional lattice structures. Integrated electrical work included new outlets, ceiling fans, and lighting to enhance usability and comfort year-round.

In addition, a solid Alumawood patio cover was installed over the existing above-ground spa, providing full shade and long-term, low-maintenance protection.

This Wildomar patio renovation was designed and constructed to meet local building codes while delivering a clean, finished appearance built for lasting performance.

The required building permit was issued and the final inspection performed by the City of Wildomar Building Department.

Open Space, Real History, and the Kind of Community People Actually Stay In

As the owner of SAE Builders, I’ve worked across Southwest Riverside County, and the City of Wildomar has a vibe you don’t always find anymore: room to breathe, pride of ownership, and a lot of people who still care whether something is built correctly. Wildomar sits between Murrieta and Lake Elsinore, with a mix of established neighborhoods, newer communities, and properties where you’ll still see horses and acreage living side-by-side with modern tracts.

A City with Deep Roots (and a Name with a Story)

Wildomar’s roots go back to the late 1800s, and the city’s name is literally built from its founders: WIL (William Collier) + DO (Donald Graham) + MAR (Margaret Collier Graham). It’s one of the few places where the origin story is hiding in plain sight. Wildomar officially incorporated as a city on July 1, 2008, but the community history runs much deeper than that.

What Wildomar Is Known For: Outdoors, Trails, and Space

If you ask locals what Wildomar is best known for, you’ll hear one theme fast: outdoor access. You’re close to the Santa Rosa Plateau area, with interpretive programs, trail walks, and popular multi-use areas for horseback riding and mountain biking.
You’ve also got nearby adventure zones like the Wildomar OHV Area in the Cleveland National Forest, with miles of trails for people who think “relaxation” should involve dust and horsepower. And for the “I want a hike with a payoff” crowd, Tenaja Falls is a well-known regional favorite when the season is wet enough to keep it flowing.

Why That Matters for Homeowners (and Construction)

Wildomar’s blend of acreage properties, outdoor lifestyle, and growth means homeowners often invest in projects that add real function: Alumawood patio covers, screened enclosures, room additions, RV garages/workshops, exterior renovations, and window replacement that actually improves comfort and durability. In a city like Wildomar, quality shows. Shortcuts also show, usually right around the first big weather event.

At SAE Builders, our focus stays the same: Quality First and Built for a Lifetime. Whether you’re in Wildomar looking to upgrade outdoor living space, remodel, or replace windows the right way, we approach every project with proper planning, code compliance, and finishes that match the home. Because “good enough” is how people end up paying twice.
