Transforming a master bath in a custom home requires precision and high-quality materials.

At SAE Builders, we go beyond just updating fixtures—we ensure every element is built for beauty and longevity.

Hybrid Alumawood
Insulated Cover in Temecula, CA

This project involved replacing an aging wood pergola with a fully customized Alumawood Insulated solid cover, designed to blend seamlessly with the existing architecture.

This hybrid design utilizes the structural rafters of an Alumawood lattice system to support a solid insulated Alumawood roof panel system.

While there is no exposed lattice section, the 3 x 8 rafter framework provides added strength, depth, and visual dimension to the structure. Designed and installed by SAE Builders, this approach creates a distinctive appearance while maintaining full shade coverage and long-term durability.

The new structure features required concrete footings, steel post and beam inserts to allow for large spans between columns.

We then installed 10" square fiberglass columns, enhancing the visual appeal and providing a durable, maintenance-free solution.

Custom-fabricated brackets and precise 45-degree cuts were used to create a wrap-around mitered corner, ensuring seamless architectural continuity.

Stucco repairs were necessary to address damage from the previous cover and to ensure a beautifully finished project with seamless integration.

The required building permit was issued and the final inspection performed by the City of Temecula Building Department.

Solid Alumawood Patio Cover Located in Temecula, CA

This beautiful backyard features a solid Newport-style Alumawood patio cover engineered for structural performance and long-term durability. The design includes a double header, .040" gauge posts, and .032" gauge side plates.

These components are required when increasing standard post spacing while attaching directly to an existing concrete slab without new footings, ensuring proper load distribution and full code compliance.

Two ceiling fans with color-matched flashing were installed, reflecting clean, professional electrical workmanship.

These structural upgrades and color-matched flashing details are standard practice for SAE Builders. This level of engineering and finish is important to consider when comparing bids, as not all proposals include the materials and specifications necessary for long-term performance.

The required building permit was issued and the final inspection was completed by the City of Temecula Building Department.

Temecula Full-Frame Window Replacement Andersen 100 Series Fibrex

This Santiago Estates home in Temecula received a full-frame window replacement using Andersen 100 Series fiberglass windows. Unlike retro-fit insert windows, full-frame replacement removes the entire existing unit down to the rough opening, including stucco and lath as required.

This method allows proper flashing, waterproofing, and structural attachment. Prosoco R-Guard Fast Flash was applied to create a superior moisture barrier, helping protect the home from future water intrusion. Lath and plaster were then replaced and blended to match the existing exterior finish, eliminating the visible z-bar trim typically seen with retro-fit installations.

While retro-fit windows can provide significant upfront cost savings, SAE Builders prefers full-frame window replacement for improved energy performance, long-term durability, and a cleaner architectural finish that maintains the integrity of the home.
